Mia Bacic is an associate of the firm. Her practice is focused on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, share or asset sales and joint ventures, equity and debt financings of public and private entities, and private equity and venture capital financings. She also acts for both lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions, and institutional dealers in equity and debt financings. Ms. Bacic provides assistance to clients in all aspects of corporate and securities law matters, including assisting companies in their compliance with the requirements of securities regulators and stock exchanges.
Ms. Bacic obtained her LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 2002 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2003. Ms. Bacic also holds a civil law degree obtained from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina in 1993. She is a member of the Securities Law, Business Law and Banking Law subsections of the Canadian Bar Association.
