Private Placement
We represented Haywood Securities Inc. in connection with a $23 million private placement of 18,500,000 ordinary shares sold at $1.25 per share. The financing was completed on February 9, 2009 as a private placement to accredited investors in Canada. The proceeds of the offering were used to fund the completion and commissioning of CGA’s Masbate Gold Mine in the Philippines. The ordinary shares of CGA are listed for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Australian Securities Exchange.
