Fund Formation
We represented a syndicate of institutional investors, including Business Development Bank of Canada, Teralys Capital Fund and B.C. Renaissance Capital Fund in the formation and first closing of Vanedge Capital I Limited Partnership on May 13, 2010, on commitments of over $100 million. The Fund, which is capped at $200 million, will invest in a portfolio of high-technology companies focussed on interactive entertainment or digital media and content. It was co-founded and will be managed by a team led by Paul Lee, the former President of Electronic Arts Inc.
